Frequently asked questions

The things people ask us most — answered plainly, the way Norma would.

Orders & shipping

How long until my order arrives?

Orders usually ship within 3 business days, and delivery typically takes 3–10 days after that depending on where you are. You'll get a tracking email the moment it's on its way. We will do out best to let you know ahead of time if shippin is delayed due to weather, holidays, or increased order volume due to sales and other events.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If it hasn't shipped yet, absolutely — contact us with your order number and we'll sort it out. Once it's in the mail, we can't reroute it, but our return policy has you covered.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we ship within the US and US territories only. We can also ship to any miitary base with an APO address.

Returns, exchanges & sizing

What's your return policy?

If it doesn't make you feel wonderful, send it back. Returns are accepted within 5 days of delivery on unworn items with tags attached. The full details live on our returns page.

How do I know what size to order?

Every product page lists measurements, and our size guide shows how to take yours. Between sizes? Our honest advice is noted on each product — and you can always ask us before ordering. We'd rather answer twice than have you guess once.

Can I exchange for a different size?

Of course. Start a return within 5 days and tell us the size you need — if it's in stock, we'll set it aside for you.

The Norma Jean Promise

Where does the 10% actually go?

10% of profits from every order is split between the Alzheimer's Association for Alzheimer's research and the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Once we are more established our goal is to also have our own caregiver fund to support families caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's.

We publish the totals in our monthly Notes from Norma letter and an annual giving report — real numbers, every time.

Who is Norma Jean?

The shop is named for our grandmother — the most upbeat, caring woman you could ever meet, now living with Alzheimer's. Her story is right here, and her spirit is in everything we do.

I'm caring for someone with Alzheimer's. Do you have resources?

We see you, and we know how heavy it can be. Our caregiver resources page gathers helplines, respite options, and organizations that helps families and caregivers. You're not doing this alone.
