The Norma Jean Promise
10% of profits from every order goes to Alzheimer's research and to families caring for someone they love through this disease. Not some orders. Not when we feel like it. Every order, always.
Why we made this promise
This boutique is named for my grandmother, Norma Jean — the warmest, most upbeat woman you could ever hope to meet, who is living with Alzheimer's disease. Our family knows what the diagnosis costs: the research that isn't funded fast enough, and the quiet exhaustion of the people doing the caring.
We couldn't open a shop in her name and not do something about both. Her full story is here.
How it works
You place an order — any order, any size.
Each [month/quarter], we calculate 10% of our profits. No minimums, no caps, no asterisks.
We send it — split between research and family support — and publish the numbers for everyone to see.
Where it goes
Alzheimer's research — [partner organization]
[Two sentences: who they are and why your family chose them. "We chose them because..." is the sentence that matters.]
Caregiving families — [partner organization]
[Same again — and if the support is concrete, name it: respite care hours, support programs, direct family grants.]
